Brad Stevens
Watching Duke-Butler yesterday, I was reminded how much I like Brad Stevens, the Butler coach. What a calm, confident guy he is for a 34-year old. He signed a 12-year deal to stay at Butler, and he seems like the kind of guy who might just decide to have a one-school career, but if I were a big-time program looking to hire a coach, I'd bust the bank to try to pry him away. And if he stays there, it won't surprise me if we see Butler become a consistent top 20 program despite the obvious disadvantages he faces. He's that good.

I remember hearing something about him that he almost uses a baseball-esque stat analysis type system too.
Very smart guy. Excellent coach.

Stevens appears to be an excellent young coach, but he most likely a version of Mark Few II unless he looks to accept an offer from a major program. There is a tremendous amount of D1 talent coming out of Indiana, but it is very difficult to consistently find guys who will elevate their game as Butler's recent kids have done.
