Today's historic photos: The good old days.

Brooks and Frank in old Yankee Stadium, June 21st 1966.

Earl and Boog giving the umpire an earful, October 15th 1970.

Sparky and Earl. Two of the greatest managers in baseball history share a moment, 1979.

Love the pics. I hate to do this, but it doesn't look like Earl with Boog. Could that be 1st base coach Jim Frey #41? Sorry to question but just wondering.

I was thinking the same thing, but that does look like a side profile of Earl's nose. Hard to tell. A strained face looks much different then one at rest.

That guy also seems to be a lot taller than Weaver. I can't imagine Weaver towering over anyone like that guy is over the ump.

Yeah, that doesn't look like Earl. My memory ain't what it used to be, but wasn't there a 1st base coach by the name of Geoarge Stahler or something like that.

On another note, it's interesting to see a picture of Brooks before he started getting a little chubby.

    I might have impressed myself.

I don't think it's Weaver but the Ump appears to be down on one knee.
