If Pie is traded it would be part of a package. He doesn't have enough value on his own. It could be Pie plus Tillman for a long term 1B e.g.

I'm not sure why you think he's 1) accept an assignment to Norfolk or 2) not just play LF or RF in AAA. The players who can help the ML team will get ABs, and that means Angle.
