    New monitor question

Just got this monitor this afternoon:

Being off-lease, I didn't get any literature with it. I was wondering what refresh rate to set it to. I set it at 75 hz for now. I thought you set it as high as possible, then if you get any wobbling or problems you drop it lower. Is that correct?

Looks like 75 Hz is supported @

    •640 x 480
    •800 x 600
    •1024 x 768
    •1280 x 1024

resolutions so you should be good if your resolution is at one of those.

Thanks. I bumped it up to 1280 by 1024 (max) and 75 hz. Everything looks good after a couple hours.

And WOW! I knew my old CRT was bad (dark mostly) but I didn't even realize how bad. This new one is beautiful!
