Thread: The Killing

I wanted resolution and I hate that my favorite character turns out to be a villain. I'm hoping they quickly resolve this early in the second season and theres another murder that needs to be investigated for the rest of the episodes.

I agree with Simmons 100%. I feel betrayed and would never have started watching if I knew it would wrap into a second season. If the season starts in 2 months I can live with it, but if its 9 or 10 months, I am not going to bother getting back into it.

So...did anyone watch? I thought it was a pretty good first episode for season 2!

Nice to see Holder and Linden back together. I could see how his psyche could be taking a hit right now, basically being told he's only there because he's dirty, even though he's trying to better himself legitimately.
I get the feeling this show is going to go on for years before the true killer is revealed! Lots more stuff happening here this week and looking forward to the next episode!

Looks like my previous post was incorrect, as they will be wrapping up this murder on the last episode of this season. Makes me wonder if this series is going to be over or if they plan to follow these characters after the mystery is solved.
I don't have any idea at this point who the killer is.

I'm not even sure if I care at this point. This season hasn't been terrible but certainly not great either. Most episodes bore me with a few stand outs. The whole Mitch plot line is incredibly stupid. I keep watching just to see it to its end and because Joel Kinnaman is great.
All signs point to the mayor at this point so I guess its definitely not him. I say the guy in Richmond's campaign. I think it would be cheap to make it someone introduced in season 2 but maybe its the guy Rosie went and visited who might've been her real father.

In some ways I like this season better than last season. Got to have the payoff at the end of the season though. Don't drag this case out another year.

The shame of this series really is the mediocre writing. The acting, especially by the actors playing Holder, Linden, and Stan Larson, is excellent.
