I must say... and this is purely emotion talking here - I do like the idea that he was eliminated by "boots on the ground" as opposed to a predator drone. There's real satisfaction in knowing that at some point he knew "they're here for me."
Profound admiration and thanks to the forces involved and to all our military.

I'm glad the man has been eliminated. Many thanks to the SEALs, quite a feather in their cap. It's amazing how well the operation went - only one true civilian death (and that's assuming that the woman shot was not resisting) - and no US casualties. Certainly less collateral damage than would have followed a missile strike.
I agree with the decision not to release the photographs. It won't shut up any conspiracy theorists and it releasing them would, to me at least, seem morally suspect. If Osama is still alive, let him prove it.

And BTW, how is it Osama/Usama gets killed the first night of my cruise (which I'm still in the middle of) when I have no internet access?
