Senator Scott Brown and at least two other senators confirmed publicly that bin Laden is dead based on one of the fake photos from the internet that they saw.

Oops! Sen. Brown duped by fake bin Laden photo

Oh well, no secret lasts forever. And think of the bright side, the military will be able to buy the 'copters "made in China" in a couple months for real cheap!

The secret may be out but they're hardly a surprise. Our military specializes in night fighting. Not having something like this would be the surprise.

Profound admiration and thanks to the forces involved and to all our military.
Agree 100%. The first bullet hit him in the chest. So, for an instant, he knew we killed him.

There's also something vaguely satisfying about the fact that we went and got him personally when he always hid behind others and never actually carried out a mission himself. He never walked into enemy territory and put his own life in danger.

Well, not to trumpet his accomplishments, but I believe he was on the front line in the 80s fighting the Ruskies if Afghanistan.

I'm sure WikiLeaks will leak a photo of Bin Laden soon enough, so there's no need to release one anyway.

Why did you have to bring that up? We don't need Americans knowing that we have played a part in creating the same monsters that we later have to kill. We funded and gave weapons to Bin Laden and Hussein when our foreign policy objectives were different. The people that say America is to blame are morons however. These horrible human beings made the decision to massacre innocent civilians themselves, and they deserved to die because of their actions against humanity.

What? I don't think Stotle said anything remotely close to what you're describing. He only said that bin Laden was on the front line in Afghanistan, not that these people aren't monsters. Talk about reading what you want to read.

Fair enough, forgot about his "freedom fighter" days. But once he decided it was us he hated he never put himself on the line like that again.

Based on an analysis of the breathing and speaking patterns Osama bin Laden exhibited in a videotape released in December [2001], Western intelligence officers believe he had suffered a severe chest wound but survived a U.S. air and ground assault in eastern Afghanistan

That sucks. They had an internet cafe set up when I was on that ship.
