Seems pretty obvious. The second someone has the Osama pictures it will be all over the news. Why would some distant facebook friend have access to something CNN doesn't?

I'm friends with McGruff the Crimedog on Facebook.

If he tells me he has it...I'm thinking it has to be legit, right?

It's sounding like the biggest victory in this raid was not the life we took, but the lives we may have potentially saved.

    http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/05/...ex.html?hpt=C1

Already the U.S. has acted on intelligence gathered from material at bin Laden's compound. On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a notice tied to rail security saying that, in February 2010, al Qaeda members discussed a plan to derail trains in the U.S. by placing obstructions on tracks, according to a law enforcement source who received the notice.

The plan was to be executed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. But no specific city or rail system was identified in the notice, the source told CNN. A U.S. official cautioned that the information doesn't appear to suggest an imminent plot against U.S. rail systems but that the discovery may be the tip of the iceberg of potential plots.

Funny. But I think we are talking more along the lines of the tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands?) that commute to work via train. For NYC, the subway, Long Island Railroad, Jersey Transit, PATH train and Metro North carry a crazy number of people in and out of the city each day.

As a frequent rider of the Northeast Regional and an occasional rider of the Acela as well as former rider of MARC, I can assure you that practically every train running the corridor between DC and NYC is 100% full.

In addition to the other rail lines Stotle mentioned I will also point out that the MARC Penn Line is frequently standing room only.

I know it was a joke. It wasn't funny.

I've ridden that route a couple times too, so I know that those lines can get crowded. That doesn't make the joke less funny.

I know it's been a couple days and I just saw this, and I should probably let it go, but after riding the train last night and remembering that I may need to do so again next week, I have to respond:
