Supposedly, that's Stannis' voice. I'm getting chills.

Ser Dontos has been cast. Dude definitely looks the part of the bumbling knight.

Rose Leslie cast as Ygritte and she is "kissed by fire" so no need for a wig.

BTW, did anyone see Nathan Fillion's (of Castle and Firefly fame) recent tweet?

Dear George R.R. Martin, I don't want to rush you, but I just finished book 5, and book 6 isn't gonna write itself! Nathan

I'm wondering if the forces of the Eyrie (since Littlefinger schemes to marry Sansa to up-and-coming squire with a lot of clout) will join up with Stannis' forces for the attack on Winterfell.
Gah, The Winds of Winter can't get here soon enough!

GRRM would do well to finish it as soon as possible to capitalize on all of the momentum he has with the TV show and ADWD. I know the creative process doesn't work that way, though. Also, he is 63 years old right now, so if he takes three years per book, it could definitely get dicey.

Ugh, not exactly what I wanted to hear. I don't know if it will have much effect, but I'm hoping that the TV show continues to succeed and keeps airing. Maybe that will help keep George on the ball to get the other books done before the show catches up.The book tour took up a lot of time. I know some writers can write on the road, but I'm not one of them. I have about 100 pages done for the next book, which was mostly pages I had finished [for A Dance With Dragons] and decided to push back. I'll return to that in January.
I do have a question that I've been thinking about as I've actually been rereading book 1. If Varys is loyal to the Targeryans and wants to see them return to power why would he be informing Robert Baratheon of Visery's and Dany's movements and what they are up to? Wouldn't he want to keep that a secret?

Is Jon Snow the "blue rose at the Wall" that Daeny sees in her visions in Clash of Kings?

All I know is I am 3/4 of the way through a "Feast for Crows" and I am greatly disappointed. I mean, so far nothing from Tyrion, Jon or Danny. I just don't see the need to flesh out the Ironborn or the Dornishmen? And I have had it with Arya's perspective. She really adds nothing to the story if you ask me. I do like the Cersei, Jaime and Brienne perspective but this book can't get over quick enough and it feels like Martin had all of this extra material that wouldn't fit in the others so he made a book out of it. To me it doesn't push the overall narrative forward and has been quite a waste of time. Now maybe the last quarter of the book will change my opinion but I doubt it. I really hope "A Dance with Dragons" is better.
