I wonder if the Unsullied will be introduced next season. That's one of my favorite storylines in the books, BTW. I love when Daeny frees them and then has them turn against their former masters/torturers.

Seeing Rattleshirt in the promos for next week, he looks exactly like I pictured him (well, in his "armor").

Didnt like this episode as much as last weeks. But still enjoyed Ygritte a lot. She's a saucy bit.
Anyone notice how MUCH Sansa grew up this last year? She developed in more ways than one.
I do not like how they are humanizing Cersei. I enjoyed her straight up evil self and dont enjoy her showing ANY softness for Sansa. She never did. Period.

That's the second time they've mentioned the Brotherhood Without Banners. Sounds like will get to see Beric in the coming seasons! (I know he was in season 1, but he didn't have any dialogue)

I was pretty sure she was somewhat sympathetic in the book when Sansa "flowered," just not that sympathetic. I think they're starting to do to Cersei what they already did with Jaime, fleshing out the backstory earlier than they did in the books because of the medium. Now that we know her primary concern is with her children, that opens the door to the fortune that messes with her head.

While I'm not a fan of the changes they've made to the Qarth storyline I do have to compliment them on the actor to play Pyat Pree. He comes off as just as creepy as I imagined him. I really hope they can deliver on the house of the undying, will they tease the Red Wedding???
Jon and Ygritte have great onscreen chemistry together and I'm enjoying alot but I'm concerned how much more time if any he will spend with the Halffand. All of that time with Qhorin and Jon was great and really built things up before Jon had to kill him. I'm curious to see how they resolve this situation.

I wonder if Brienne and Catelyn cut off Jaime's hand, since they seem to be omitting Vargo Hoat from the storyline.
It'd make sense for his punishment. BTW, I also like how they handled the Karstark storyline. I didn't like in the books how there were two brothers, both of whom were killed in battle by Jaime, which led to their father's intense hatred for him.

13 hours of flights between tomorrow and Tuesday, so I'm taking A Storm of Swords in case I get bored. Got the 4th one last night too, so I'm ready once I finish this one and then I can catch up with the 5th one at the beach this summer.

BTW, they're making Shae much more sympathetic on the show than she is in the novel, not to mention pairing her up with Sansa.
I'm guessing Tyrion won't be the one to kill her. If anything, perhaps Tywin will have her killed, which will be yet another reason why Tyrion eventually kills his father.
I just hope they don't edit Tywin's death as Tyrion killing him on the *****er is priceless.

I didn't like how they changed around the release of Jamie. I don't mind them moving that up to season 2 as that happened fairly early in book 3, but changing Catelyns motives a bit for doing this grinded my gears. Why go through the trouble of having the audience believe that Bran and Rickon are dead if Catelyn and Rob aren't going to learn of this as well? Catelyn's actions are more understandable in the book when she's already lost Ned, Sansa and Arya are prisoners, and then she finds out that Bran and Rickon have been "murdered". This also explains why she becomes so ruthless as Stoneheart. That's a lot more severe than Bran and Rickon are stuck at Winterfell so let me release Jamie back so I can get my girls back, and I can still get my sons back too.

Not to mention it was Robb's reason for dropping his normally smarter political savvy. I like the change with it being what's her face, but imagine how powerful that scene would have been had Robb been trying to hold it together because he just found out about his brothers?
