Here's some final musings about what to expect from season 2 now that filming has just about wrapped. Still not happy about the Tully's, especially the Blackfish!

In other news there will be a 2-3 promo video for season 2 airing tonight on HBO before Boardwalk Empire. It's supposed to include some footage of some of the new characters in Season 2 so it should be pretty good.

Not really how I pictured Stannis. Too bad we didn't get to hear him talk at all.

Did you catch Davos later in the trailer on the horse, you can even see his bag of luck!

There's also a quick glimpse of Brienne around the 1:45 mark but it's hard to see her b/c she's wearing a helmet.

And how about Renly!? Dude looks way more bad ass this season compared to season 1! Gotta respect that beard, and I'm a big fan of his antlered crown!

As the link says it sounds like they will film season 3 and 4 back to back in one big 9 month block. It doesn't say if seasons 3 and 4 will be all based on Storm of Swords, but they have already said it would be more than one season. I'm guessing maybe 1 and a half seasons for Storm then move onto book 4. How great would it be if they end season 3 right after the wedding!?! If people were pissed when Ned's head went missing then they would go bananas after that, especially if it was the season finale!

That's what I am predicting. Then season 4 will cover the rest of storm, part of Feast and Dance.

Weird, I'm 100 pages from the end and thought it was pretty great overall. Not that different from the rest of the series.
