It's funny they were talking about it on XM last night, that before the draft in 09 all you heard was how he's as sound as you'll see a guy throwing 100mph, no concerns blah blah blah...then he gets hurt and all these people are like, yeaaaah, his mechanics are a little messy. (talking about concern for all the guys throwing 95mph plus). Then they got into a debate over the long toss programs and how adamant Bundy was about it (he's at 150 feet right now with Archie Bradley). He's also got this crazy strength building program he does to build and protect the muscles around his arm to condition for this stuff. (Archie Bradley was talking about it all, and how he, his mom, Dylan and Dylan's dad would travel together for all their travel team stuff).

Orioles119--Do the Orioles have the best pitching in baseball now? No. Are we pretty sure they will in a couple of years? No. Then there's room for improvement. You can never have too much pitching. If by some chance we have 5 great starters in 2-3 years ,leaving no room for Bundy, we trade Bundy for an established hitter. I don't see that happening, but it could be done if necessary.
I really don't see how you can claim that we're too pitching heavy.

It's like Lé Trea hacked 119's account.

What if...
Rendon didn't have the injury and he slipped to the O's, yet they passed on him to take Bundy? What then?
I'm not saying that I don't like the Bundy pick now... just that with the hype that Rendon had last year (to the point of wishing losses on the big club), they didn't take him, even when available.

That is a pointless exercise, because if Rendon hadn't been injured it is incredibly likely that he would have gone to Pittsburgh or Seattle, nor do I think the Orioles would have passed on him. You've entirely left the realm of reality or even plausibility at this point.
