Eh, even though it happened to our player it didn't look intentional to me...

Concerning just entertainment value: If I could have that 45 minutes back, there isn't much I would change. The 2nd half has a good chance to be 'edge of your seat' type suspense.

Well *!&$ ! That really was a nice goal for Mexico.

In the first half, the US offense was so relaxed early and executed in their few chances flawlessly. Once Mexico finally scored, the pressure shifted onto the US on both ends. And it has shown.

Well that was a brilliant goal. What else can be done. I guess the defender could've taken a red card and saved it with his hands.

EDIT: The replay is even better. That is a truly amazing goal. Heartbreaker.

That Dos Santos goal was phenomenal. This result hit me harder then I thought it would. Bradley needs to go. Call Bielsa/Klinnsman and give them whatever they want. Tired of bottling it.

That sucked so bad. Lose to Mexico and lose our Confederations Cup spot.

Losing Cherundolo was a huge blow. Howard had a rare clunker. Despite that, we were simply outplayed. They were faster, more confident, more aggressive and created more chances.

On the bright side, looking forward, I feel better about our squad if Adu is legitimately back. Can't wait to see the team with both Holden and, hopefully, Chandler in the fold.

How do you lose to Mexico at any sport.

I'm drinking beer and eating Swedish Fish to console myself.

The silver lining of that loss is that we cannot possibly ever see Bornstein on the team again. Right? Right?? If I ever have to watch Bornstein play another minute of USNMT soccer, then I'll be firmly in the "fire Bradley" camp.

Put it this way I refuse to ever watch another match where he is playing. I hate to say it, but it can only get worse, there is no one out there to replace Bocanegra, no left back, and nowt a good (for this level) forward to be found. Heck there is not even an out and out winger playing for the USA. Yeah Holden healthy will help, but if we did not play in CONCACAF the chances of making it to Brazil would be pretty bad.

I am still too angry to comment much on last night's performance. That was awful outside of Donovan, Cherundolo, Dempsey, and Adu (yeah I just typed that).

Question: Could Wayne Bridge skin Bornstein?
