    Yeah I looked for the FIFA rules but no dice. I always thought that international friendlies counted towards player caps and once capped you are locked in- guess not but I am sure this will be resolved over the next year. Think he is good enough to start for Germany?

    I couldn't say. I've only watched him in his US friendlies and in a few FC Nurnberg games I watched on espn3. But what I saw I liked a whole lot. If I had to guess, I'd say he's good enough to make the roster but would get very little playing time. Between Boateng and especially Lahm, they're pretty set at right back. Both of those guys are young and Lahm, in my opinion, is one of the top 5 right backs in the game.

    I do think that Chandler stays with the U.S. He's been on record saying he had a negative experience with Germany's youth team and, as one of the articles pointed out, if Bradley truly thought Germany was going to steal Chandler, he would have kept him on the roster. I won't stop worrying until he's cap-tied, though.

    Yeah, I was quoting the Univision broadcast.

    The Fox Soccer Channel online ticker is terrible and I couldn't figure out why and for whom Bornstein had been sub'd in already. So I switched to ESPN online. I've got UNI on TV and the ESPN Live Analysis online. All is good.
