Liverpool just spent 20 some million on Jordan Henderson from Sunderland, we've been heavily linked with Juan Mata recently and were when Rafa Benitez was there also. Really hope this happens.

Baines may get transferred but we will see,I hope not. ManU will eventually get Rodwell, it is only a matter of time. Fellaini seems to be on his way out but I think he is a bit over-rated.

Baines was one of my favorite players to watch this season. I hope he doesn't get transferred, unless it's to Fulham, which is obviously not going to happen.

To be honest I've not watched him often enough to give a fair opinion. He's english and we are certainly paying for his potential rather than his current quality.

If he was Croatian he would be worth a quarter of that. The massive overpay for English continues.

I am the same in that I have not seen him play a ton, but every time I have seen him play he has been anonymous (like 3-4 games last season). Also the reviews from the U-21 Euros was less than sterling. I am quite happy with our activity thus far this window, although I am not sure if we are planning on playing in France or England next season. At this point I think everyone is waiting for Chelsea to spend millions on a new team so everyone else can pick up their castoffs. If Carroll and Henderson are worth a collective 50 million, I imagine the fees for Sturridge could feed the state of Maryland next year.
