Yeah- kinda feel like Wolves deserved something out of that match to be fair, but then again we really could/ should have had four goals as Jonas missed a sitter and Ba was inches wide. Krul is looking great this season and tell you the truth I think we are only improving. I think my heart skipped a beat when Colo went down in the second half. The Colo- Taylor partnership has been fantastic this season. Its still very odd to me how stout we have been defensively. Very un-Newcastle. I think the media is starting to catch on to us being a decent side this season as I saw a few dare I say complimentary articles. All very odd.

Incredible goal, but the goalie's effort was piss poor. I think he was just awestruck.

Toon looked mighty fine against Spurs today. Great heart all-around. Pardew has definitely got them playing well, despite not having that "replacement" for Andy Carroll. Also good to see Hatem Ben Arfa back in fine form, the lad needs more minutes!

I am still buzzing over Newcastle- Spurs. What a spirit on display from the lads and SJP was rocking. They also played some of the best footy I have seen us play for a long while. For the neutral, the second half was a great advertisement for EPL football. It was breathtaking and at times end to end compelling stuff with great individual and team performances from both sides.

Wow. ManCity just annihilated ManU. At Old Trafford no less. Whole lot of questions are going to be asked.
It's becoming blatantly clear just how important David Silva is to City. He was all over the pitch and consistently hit the through ball to his strikers. Definitely looked a lot like Iniesta out there today...
...And it's also clear how ManU's lack of a central midfield is hurting them. Anderson, Fletcher, and Carrick will not cut it. I fully expect Sir Alex to go hard after someone in January (Wesley Sneijder, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Luca Modric).
Also, the loss of Nemanja Vidic is crippling their defense. Ferdinand is consistently injured, Evans has no business starting, and Smalling and Jones are still wet behind the ears.
And no one will be scrutinized harder than David de Gea.

Well Alomar it looks like Liverpool will need to spend another 100 million, just as long as it's not on overpriced average british players.
