Come on, Occam's razor man. You and I both know he said something inflammatory. It can obviously never be proven.

    OJ wasn't proven guilty either...

Maybe Evra had a tough go of it that day because Suarez had him in his pocket? It's not the first time Evra has accused someone of racist slurs either. Should note my view on this, if he's said something out of line he needs the book thrown at him. But I'll defend him till we hear another story.

Perhaps I'm aging here and getting behind my internet terminology, but is there any difference between a troll and a WUM? What does WUM stand for? Origin?

2 cents on Suarez, originally he came out said that he didn't say anything and then he changed his stance and says what he said was lost in translation. That's a little suspicious. Then again, no one is ever really going to be able to prove anything and this is all just showing how pointless the FA is. Suarez does bring most of it on himself though with his writhing around like he has been stabbed imo. You can do that in Italy, Spain, and South America, but in England- the press is gonna crucify you.

Did not see the Ballamy incident. I have always liked Bellamy. He scored some great goals for Newcastle in his day including the one in the Champions League against Feynerod which put Newcastle through their group.

If he is in fact found guilty then the FA can now decipher ones dialect to suit their agenda.

Racism is still a huge problem in European football and not just between players. For right or wrong, I think they'll look to crack down harder than normal on Suarez for his offense.

I will buy Eastern Europe and the like, but in this day and age I don't see racism as much of an issue in England, France, Spain, and countries like that; although you do hear of allegations in Scotland of some racist chants more frequently than you would like. John Terry is just an isolated douche and I'm not sure there is a whole lot in the Suarez incident. He is just hated by the media for the theatrical side of his game.

Ethnocentrism is becoming more and more of an issue in Europe as immigration levels rise, especially in the UK, France, and the Netherlands. Now, whether it's translated to the same extent to football is up for debate.

I'm just very frustrated with the fact that many assume Suarez is guilty. You weren't trolling, and I apologize, but he's being portrayed as some sort of villainous cartoon by the media.

As Gallen said, he's scum if it's true, though

Only just saw this. It's incredibly deep and addictive. If you enjoy tactics and transfer, then you need to get it. You can take control of any team and any league and pretty much do whatever you want. I always enjoy building up some League 2 side and getting them to the CL.

To be fair, it doesn't help his cause when he:

    a) handballs on the goal-line in the World Cup to deny an obvious goal (for which he was adequately punished)

    b) consistently flops around the field with Liverpool

    c) flips-off the crowd after losing to Fulham

He's not exactly endearing anyone to himself. However, like you said, those aren't indicative of him using a racial slur, nor should he be punished for the latter on account of those reasons. I just happen to think he's probably guilty.

Fair enough. Sorry I took some of my frustration out on you.
