Hodgson misused him as a CAM and Dalglish never gave him much of a chance. Cole's best when played out wide, a position that Liverpool's been lacking production from (and what Downing was supposed to provide).
I'm sure That Man Joe Cole looks good in France but his body won't be able to last in England.

I'm a big fan of his, though.

How do the tie breakers work? Would Man City gain the advantage if they go 2-0 against Man U this year?
    It's based off goal differential.

If they finish tied at the top and the current figures hold, ManCity would win the league on goal differential.

I was away for the weekend bendering. Catching up on all the happenings over the weekend. Great bunch of results for Newcastle sees us 3 points clear of fourth and the title race is back on again. Sounds like a great weekend.

Gonna be rooting for Barca later as it would really suck to finish 4th and not make the Champions League. C'mon the Messi.

Well deserved by Chelsea, but, in my opinion, the champions league final just got a lot less interesting, no matter the outcome tomorrow.

It's gonna be tough as nails for Chelsea. No Terry, Ramires, Ivanovic, Meireles. They dodged one bullet, I'm not as confident they'll be able to do it again. Particularly if Bayern squeezes through, they'll be playing on their home turf.

    Bayern should destroy Chelsea, right?
