Oy, amazing cross to Jonas there. Got a little bit too high off the boot, but would have been fantastic.

Sigh, Joey Barton. Why is this guy still on the pitch?

What's happened with Gervinho and Barton? Excellent btw that Gervinho misses the Liverpool fixture.

Gervinho dove in the box trying to get a penalty call. There was no contact. Barton took exception to it and went and picked Gervinho off the ground and got in his face. Both teams came together and Gervinho whacked Barton on the side of the head (didn't look very hard tbh). Gervinho got a red, Barton a yellow.

Song had purposely stepped on Barton's ankle earlier in the game. It was obvious they were trying to make him go crazy and get a red. They got him to go crazy but it backfired.

Was the red justifiable for Gervinho because Barton is getting slated.

Well, if you add the diving in the box part then yes, I believe he deserved a red. But Barton deserved a red absolutely. I would say more-so than Gervinho.

WBA v Man Utd was interesting. De Gea looked very shaky at times; his surrender of the equaliser was something out of grammar school. Too much play like that and he'll get eaten alive, even by clubs that regularly feature in the bottom half or the relegation zone. United were fortunate to get that late deflection and the three points. I believe they squandered too many opportunities to feel too good about themselves.

Can you explain to me why Flanagan keeps playing? He is terrible. Put those buck teeth away and stop drifting in space.

    Chode.

Good question. Johnson who is first choice is out with a hamstring injury. No idea why Kelly wasn't picked. Flanagan is very young he had a tough game decent first half got caught out in the second, to be fair to him Henderson didn't give him much help either. Hopefully he doesn't go the way of Insua young and forced to play due to injury issues.

Yeah, he's only 18. He had a poor game, but he's not going to be a poor player. I remember he had quite a performance last year...I want to say against City. Hopefully Johnson is back soon though.
