Don't worry. I'm sure Suarez will stick around for another season of CL-less football considering his deep emotional ties to Liverpool.

Sounds like another Spanish speaking player...Would love to have him right now.

Toon's "French Foreign Legion" of Cabaye, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, and Obertan are among their best contributors. Pardew seems to have gotten a steal especially in Cabaye and Marveaux this past offseason.

I commented here before but I guess it was lost in the mess.

Monday's win would have been awesome to watch, with the hat-trick by Ba!

    1. City
    2. Manchester United
    3. Newcaslte United
    4. Chelsea

Just saying. Never thought I would say this as a Newcastle fan, I hope Sunderland can knick a point from Manure this weekend. If they do and the Mighty Mags can handle their business at home against Everton, that would take us to mid November and third international break in 2nd place in the table. Best season ever.

2-1 W over Everton moves us (temporarily) into 2nd over ManUre! Never want Sunderland to do anything positive but you're right, a point in this instance would be acceptable.

I think this sums up my views about Newcastle being in third.

Seriously though, I am happy for you guys. Just wish it wasn't at the expense of Liverpool.

Well our next 3 we have City, United, and Chelsea. I doubt our 0 in the L column won't last through that but with the way they are playing I can't really rule it out.

And QPR just went up 1-nil over City! What a beauty of a header!

Well it ended up a fun match to watch, but would have loved for QPR to limit MC to a point. Ah well.

Hopefully the injuries to Cabaye and Marveaux aren't serious...they didn't appear to be ailing. Another fine defensive performance from Toon, only real slip-up was Danny Simpson letting Rodwell slip around him for the header. Ba and Best looked average today, not much going in the offensive half. Beautiful strike from Ryan Taylor though.

Tough test next week against City. NUFC will be playing for the draw I think.

Arsenal is slowly but surely climbing the table...RVP is the hottest player in England right now.

David Silva is far and away the best player in the EPL right now and maybe on the planet.

But does he mean as much to City as RVP does to Arsenal?

I wonder if it's only a matter of time before Silva hears the call to return to the padreland. Silva and Cesc seem to be on a crash-course to become the next Xavi-Iniesta for Spain.
