If the Blu Ray included the original theatrical versions I'd pony up the money for them.

Put me on team "Don't give a damn" since it doesn't change the story at all.

[Movies] Star Wars Sells a Over Million Copies on Blu-Ray
    Posted by Jeremy Thomas*on 09.22.2011

First week sales set a record...

The Star Wars Blu-Ray release has been a rousing success. Variety reports that Star Wars: The Complete Saga sold over one million copies in its first week, setting a record for the Blu-Ray format.

The nine-disc set earned over $84 million copies worldwide, with $38 million in the U.S. alone thanks to 515,000 units sold in North America. The title was the #1 pre-order and catalog title since Blu-Ray launched in 2006.

Count me as not interested in buying this blu-ray junk Lucas is peddling.

And to anyone who says these are mediocre movies in any way, I absolutely disagree. The underlying stories of temptation and redemption are done as well in the Star Wars story as they've ever been portrayed in any medium. Yes, the acting is uneven at times. Yes, there's some hokey dialogue at times. But the story of Anakin Luke Skywalker is a powerful one. The story is Lucas' greatest creation.
Fixed that for you! Agree with everything else.

Doesn't Episode 1 come out in 3D on the big screen today? Or at least in the next few days?

I actually was gonna come to post about this. George Lucas... trolling fans since 1999.

Does he really expect us to believe a bounty hunter couldn't hit a stationary target sitting 3 feet from him? I really think Lucas is losing his mind.

I saw it yesterday. I know I am in the minority, but I actually like the prequal trilogy. The first one is the worst of the entire franchise by far, but it set up everything and thus was needed.

Anyway, the 3D was okay but not Avatar, and the sound in the theater I was in sucked. I have had better experiences watching in my theater at home. But, it was well worth it to see the movie on the big screen again, and if he continues with Attack of the Clones in 3D, I will be there as well.

Yup. And it's pretty hilarious. I love how the gun goes flying out of the guys hand. I guess you could call it a force kick.

This gif makes me want to see Boba Fett fly by in the background of other random gifs. Kinda reminds me of the whole Mark Reynolds meme we had going. Would be pretty funny.
