I think Shanahan will evaluate all QBs in the draft pool. If he likes Kellen Moore and it looks like he can get him with our mid-round pick... That will probably be option #1. (or a similar QB)

I don't disagree with any of this, but I still believe they'll have to move picks to get a qb, whether that's Bradford, a non luck draft pick, or claussen (shudder).
If you're ok with a rookie QB, why don't you think there will be a solid QB available at their spot in the 1st round? Would Barkley or Griffin be unacceptable to you?
I really don't know too much about this crop with the exception, that collectively, they are supposed to be better than last year's. I see teams like Indy, Seattle, and Miami all needing quarterbacks. So I was assuming, they'd have to move up. But if they don't need to, that's great. I just think they'll need to be aggressive. I loved the gabbert/Kerrigan play this draft, but I think they should be able to go in the other direction if need be.
The big worry I have with a Bradford or a Luck is the cost - I think the cost is going to be hugely prohibitive and this is a team that, while terrific improvements have been made, still has holes a-plenty.
At the risk of sounding stupid or whatever, if Campbell, for whatever reason would want to come back, I'd look to sign him this offseason. He's much better than Rexual Healing or whatever we're calling him now-a-days and Beck is really just a good backup. I think Campbell could be had relatively cheap and would free caproom to get the high end acquisitions elsewhere.
What do you think about a scenerio where Indy picks Andrew Luck and trades Peyton Manning? We all know Snyder would cover the bill, but would Shanahan and Manning be able to put together a 2 year run at a Super Bowl? Would the fact that Manning is basically a QB and a "OC on the field" be in conflict with Shanahan's offensive approach? The idea intrigues me, but I fear they won't fit well together.
I don't really prefer it. I'd rather sit back and draft whatever QB falls, hopefully RGIII. I'd also be fine with Barkley, Tannenhill to a less extent. (not top 15)
I'd rather compete for the next 10 years than have a super bowl shot in the next 2. There's so much parity in the NFL that a good QB gives you a shot at a super bowl much more often than you'd think.

The good thing for you guys is it's completely and undeniably clear now that QB is a huge need. You're also going to be picking in the top 10 and there are two top 10-15 QBs in Landry Jones and Barkley who will probably be in the draft. Robert Griffin is also a possibility. One of these guys really should be your pick. The key is probably going to be having a top 6 or 7 pick. It's very possible both go before the 10th pick.
As of today, they'd pick anywhere between 6 and 11. My worry is that both Seattle and Arizona end up picking ahead of the Redskins, along with. If the Cardinals aren't in love with Kolb, those top 3 guys may be gone. In that scenario, there would be 4 teams going after 3 QBs.
Tonight's Oklahoma-Baylor game should be on Redskins' fans radar, as there are two potential choices playing, in Jones and Griffin. The more the Redskins lose, the greater the chance of getting a good QB in the draft, and at this point I'm fine if they lose out. The status quo is unacceptable - I feel the same way about it as people on here when they talk about the stupidity of building the Orioles to win 75 games.
I know Luck is considered a once in a generation QB, but I certainly wouldn't mind any of the other 3 top QB's. As someone who loves QB's who can run, Griffin III is very enticing. I was mostly watch the USC game, but that was a heck of a display of tools on that last drive and his stats for the game are tremendous.
However, he's not ranked that highly by McShay and Kiper.

I doubt the Cardinals will take a QB given the contract they gave Kolb. Even if those top 3 guys are gone, if they are indeed the top 3, that would still leave Griffin.
