Someone was going to overpay for Flynn regardless if he started 0 games. UFA QB are going to get contracts somewhere, especially if they don't have a record to say they shouldn't (nevermind they don't have a record to say they should either). The NFL is a show me what you can do sport, and when you've shown you CAN'T do it, you're out, you WILL get a chance somewhere though.

You can't compare college skill level because a) most don't play a real defense all season, b) there are systems that are FAR more successful than the individual players in it, and c) I saw Schaub a lot in college, he wasn't that impressive, I'm amazed he's done as well as he has in the pros.

Trust me I hope the Redskins sign Flynn and think he is their answer at QB after just two good games.

They went out to get McNabb. He gave the job to Rex Grossman. They went with John Beck. That all didn't work. Do they go after Matt Flynn? They might not go after him. RGIII in the draft is someone they'd have to move up to get. AFter him, there's no one else to go get. Mike Shanahan needs to start winning some games.

I agree with this, but I think it's too big of a gamble to take him 6th overall.

What concerns me is that another team will go all Oakland and offer StL a ton for Griffin.

I think it would be a mistake to draft Tannehill in the first 15 picks.

I can't see Shanahan (or Snyder) counting on a QB out of the draft.

It will all depend on FA. They don't have as many holes as you think though. Their Oline has vastly improved and their defense is close to being set, save for a big CB. Plus, I don't think it will cost a ransom to move up to the 2nd or 3rd spot. We aren't talking a Luck package here.
