Hopefully Barkley and RG3 don't go back to school. But they'll each have strong reasons to, especially RG3

For the sake of CFB, I hope they do.

Probably right about Arizona, although it's a possibility. Miami may also be in on a qb as well.

So should we be rooting for the Skins in this game and going forward or for them to improve their draft status?

Was just pondering this. The Kool-Aid wants me to say, suuuure we could run 8 in a row and make the playoffs. The realist in me knows that isn't going to make things any better. I'd rather lose out and get a LEGIT QB.

Logically I somewhat agree with this, yet it's hard to watch the game and be rooting for that, especially against the Cowboys.

I say somewhat, because if they do win a fair amount of their remaining games, that means that some guys played well and it brings some positive momentum to next season.

Yeah it's like we are just far enough out that making a run probably leaves us out of the playoffs with a much higher draft pick. That's the trap we were stuck in for years, and we weren't getting any of those really solid mid-round picks like Kerrigan.

I'd rather get the really high pick this season and try to come out swinging next year. I wouldn't be super upset if they made a run and made something of the season, but with 5 losses already there's not a TON of breathing room.

Whatever his issue, it's in his head. Job on the line and he goes 9-9 preseason. Hits a 59 yarder a couple weeks ago in a meaningless kick. I hate to cut him loose and watch him go somewhere else and be a probowl kicker for 10 years because he's still young. Akers still haunts me. I didn't think he was TERRIBLE here and he was young, then he was gone so quick and BOOM. Novak is having a great season in SD this year. Even Suisham looks ok in PIT.

At some point you just have to ride it out and let them work through it I think.

D''''angelo hall is the greatest corner back ever. He should get another tatoo on his neck that says property of Dez Bryant.

The Skins need a real number 1 CB. Hall can't cover big receivers at all. But that can be added with a ton of other things they need.

You have to root to lose out and get a top 5 pick. Barkley especially would be an awesome get for you guys. Even so, him going #2 is a real possibilty at this point.

Fortunately, out of the 4 teams with worse records, only 1 (Colts) would be likely to take a QB. Miami is the only 3 win team that would be likely to take a QB, and they should finish with a better record than the Skins.

Unfortunately, those teams that don't need a QB but pick before the Skins will have other needs so a team that needs a QB can trade ahead of the Skins so a team, lets say the Rams, can add more picks to build around Bradford. They need to go for the second pick.
