The 2nd pick would be great.

The Rams would be wise to draft Matt Kalil, and they won't likely be able to trade down to get him.

I highly doubt QB's are going to be drafted 1-3.

Plus, I like Griffin a lot from what I have seen.

I think Griffin is my dream at the moment. Mobile QB with a big accurate arm, along with a great head on his shoulders.

    Probably goes for me,

    Luck
    RG3
    Barkley
    Jones
    Tannenhill

But I think we can rule Luck out, barring a trade.

Well based on the rankings now, it seems unlikely that Griffin will go in the top 5.

Who knows at this point. He could come back for law school and another shot at the Olympics.

Griffin's stock is on the rise and after he wows the combine I could see him moving into the top 5 overall.

Well it's a good thing the Skins look like they'll have a top 5 pick.

Depending on tiebreakers, the Redskins currently stand to pick between fifth and eighth.

Teams that would be interested in drafting a QB high in the first round either by picking their spot or trading up:

    Washington
    Seattle
    Miami
    Cleveland
Indy (could trade the pick and ride out the end of Manning's career)
    KC?
    Denver?

Considering the way things are going, I would guess that the Skins will have a better pick than all but the Colts.

I'd be stoked to get RG3.

But whoever it is, I just hope we don't miss with the pick. We can't afford to brick this and it seems like we can never select a good 1st round QB. Shuler, Ramsey, Campbell...ugh. None panned to be a franchise, game changing QB.

As it stands, RG3 is my first choice but I won't be heartbroken if we end up with someone else like Barkley. I do believe Luck is out of the question.

I just wonder how this team would look if we had someone like Andy Dalton or Cam Newton playing right now. Our record might not be significantly better but the future sure would be brighter.

I think if we end up with a top 5 pick, we should at least try to trade for Luck. I can't imagine what it would cost... swap picks this year and give them our first rounder next year would be my guess... That is a steep price to pay, but Luck may be worth it.

Not now... It would be our luck (no pun intended) that he would arrive and get us 2-3 more wins and a #17 slot instead of the #4-#6 slot. Could be critical.

He'll end up in Chicago, as long as no one else claims him before the Bears. No reason at all to grab Orton.
