I read what happened, and despite the ending, Mayweather was dominant, and would likely have won the fight anyway. The post match interview with Larry Merchant was a punk move by Mayweather, and just furthers his image as a bad person.

Defend yourself at all times is the rule in boxing. However sorry Ortiz was for the headbut he needed to get focused on the fight and he wasn't ready .
Also noticed the referee didn't seem to be looking at the fighters when punches were thrown. It's like he turned around and Ortiz was on the ground and didn't really see what happened. Just another strange boxing event !!

Yeah but you got to love Merchant's response "If I was 50 years younger I'd kick your ass" then he smiled. He knows the profession hes in.

I'd love to see Pacquiao lay him out, if that match ever happens.

So how do you guys think the sport of boxing is going to shape up? I know that the most talked about match up now is the one between Pacquiao and Mayweather though they both have their own assignments before they could probably face one another.

It seems like they are not too eager to dive as well, or that could only be said about Floyd. I am not taking sides here as I just want them to get it on already.
