I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining too much, but it's that stalling on drives thing that kills me about Rex.
I think what mostly kills you about Rex is that you got it set in your mind that Beck > Grossman.

That should be it for Rex he's holding them back. Beck can't be any worse at this point.

I didn't really like Beck much either, I wanted one of the QB in the draft. In the preseason I liked what Beck did more than Rex though. Can Beck do much worse than Rex is doing right now? Without that running game earlier, we'd have 3 points against a rookie CB, a 2nd year player who was a UFA, and a banged up set of safeties.

In fairness, it might not just be Rex, but I'd love to see someone else so I can make a comparison...

I think you are being overly critical here. I guess you had to find someone to bash since Rodgers is gone.

Other than that one pick, I really don't think he's been bad today. Now I'd have to see the game film to really tell so I'd know if he's been missing a lot of open receivers, but that hasn't been evident from the broadcast as far as I can tell.

Cards did what they had to do.....they're now forcing one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the league to play catch-up.

He's been throwing balls behind guys, short, and one or two too high all day. He's got 14 incompletions, and a lot of them are on short passes. He's been throwing off his back foot while backpedaling too. That last pass right there to Stallworth was a good example. That makes 3 passes at least batted down too.

And come on, everyone in the world knew Rogers couldn't catch.

That was a great call and throw right there. Still down though.

If you say so. I think those are gross exaggerations. Pun intended.

    And there's a TD.

Yeah, Rodgers couldn't catch, but he was a pretty darn good corner otherwise.

That was close. I love the statsheet. It shows we dominated much more than the score would indicate. However, we clearly need to correct some mistakes. That first interception was potentially a game-changer. Hopefully, lessons will be learned. Over the last 3 years, the Skins would have lost this game. I sense a new atmosphere! Hail to the Redskins! Hail Victory!
