Very sad. I'm not much of a racing fan, but if you asked my favorite to watch I'd say Indy cars, and if you asked my favorite driver I'd probably say Dan Wheldon.

Seemed like a really good-natured guy, and very talented to boot.

I remember back when Danica Patrick first raced at Indy. A few weeks later her teammates showed up with t-shirts that said "Danica's Teammate", and Wheldon had one that said "I actually won the Indy 500".

I saw the video of the crash and it was pretty horrific. Amazing that others weren't seriously hurt because that was a terrible wreck. Hard to believe that it started from two cars just slightly touching each other. Sad story. RIP.
