    Community

Is anyone watching this show? For my money, it's the best comedy on TV, bar none. Unfortunately it's getting terrible ratings, but NBC has been patient with it so far.

Last week's episode (with the "six timelines") was one of the best episodes I've ever watched-- of any show. The moment it ended, I immediately wanted to watch it again.

I've been championing it since about its third week. It think it's one of four pretty exceptional half-hour comedies on TV right now, with Parks & Rec, Archer, and Louie. I was remarking on Saturday night to a friend how amazing it is that they can pack that much conceptual comedy into a 23 minute show. I agree, this was a great episode, bearing all of the hallmarks of their best - the formal brilliance actually providing us a look at individual and group dynamics. While still being hilarious.

I'm just now getting into Community but I have to agree, that last episode was amazing. I usually just have it on while I'm waiting for Parks and Rec but I'm getting sucked in. I love the endless meta-humor. Speaking of Parks and Rec, is there a better show on TV right now? Ron Swanson is one of the best characters of all time.

I love Community, and I'll be really disappointed if it's canceled. I also have an added vested interest in that it's pretty much the only show that I was "out in front of" from the pilot on rather than being late to the bandwagon.

The four shows I listed are all very, very different. It's tough to compare them. And, in the end, there's not much need to. We should probably just be happy to have them around.

Apparently Community is being pulled midseason. Supposedly it's not canceled yet, but I bet it's only a matter of time. I'm very disappointed in the American public.

If canceled, I'm done w/ NBC.

This sucks so badly. Anything legitimately creative is killed.

I'll stick around for Parks and Rec but yeah, this is definitely disappointing.

Parks and Rec and I'm going to finish out Chuck, but NBC sure is dumb. Whitney!? Seriously?

The problem isn't NBC its the American public.

Community gets bad ratings. Whitney gets better ratings (I don't watch it, but it does have better ratings)

I agree with that, in general.

However, Whitney also currently follows The Office. In January, when Whitney moves to the 8:00 slot currently held by Community, it won't do any better, at least not better enough, IMHO, to replace a show that is so critically acclaimed. That's why I think NBC is dumb.
