    Heyman says the same.

    @SI_JonHeyman
    Jon Heyman
    Hearing tony lacava very likely to get orioles gm job. Dipotos interview in baltimore likely caused quick angels call on dipoto

    EDIT: Oops, Heyman was the original source. Should have read link first.

    The story is from the Heyman tweet. Not finalized but could be real soon, Tuesday presser?

    Yes, especially after the Stockstill news. If they do end up hiring La Cava that is a great move for the future of this team. So long as Pete lets him do his thing.

    Pete does not and it does not matter if we hire Kermit the frog.

    I was hoping for Levine, but I'm definitely ready to get excited about LaCava.

    He'd be saying exactly the opposite if it were LaCava that got hired. If they were going to make that decision it'd be done by now. I think they are holding out for TEX to finish.

    And there is the problem. That didn't work with Wren.

    Yup, he's definitely the elephant in the room. We can hope though right.

    I wouldn't necessarily take Heyman's word as gospel here. Hopefully this gets resolved early next week. I'm sick of waiting.
