Since four guys are gone, their replacements are:
16. Ryan Flaherty - INF/OF picked up in rule 5 draft.
17. Matt Antonelli - 3B/2B - Signed as minor league free agent to 40-man roster
29. Zach Davies - RHP who has pitched professional yet
30. Ryan Berry - RHP coming back from shoulder problems but if healthy and stuff returns could move quickly as a reliever
Just a heads up, I'll keep updating this thread as I update the prospects.
Biggest disagreements so far are not having Clayton Schrader or Tyler Townsend in the top 20, although I understand the reasoning on both.
That's ok guys, there are always going to be disagreements. You can build an argument for Schrader and Townsend to be the top 20, no doubt, but at the end of the day I went with guys that I felt had a better chance of doing something in the major leagues over guys with higher possible ceilings, but less of a chance due to some glaring weaknesses. (How's that for one long run-on sentence?)![]()
Tony, any idea when we'll get the 21-30 and the other 30 propsects to watch lists? Thanks in advance...been great to follow so far!
I will post another 30 players to keep an eye on or know about this week.
No Hobgood, no Givens, no Ohlman, no Coffey, Townsend at 24.
Just a brutal draft class.
