"I used to be an Orioles fan, but then I took an arrow to the knee...the 14 years of losing sure didn't help either though."

In all seriousness, I just got this game for the PS3. Any tips for starting my Skyrim journey?

I'm not really into the whole dragons & gnomes thing... but I have heard that doesn't matter.

    Does it?

I don't think it does. There are quite a few dungeons and dragons though. You don't have to worry about hit points and levels all that much, the game does it for you.

Yeah. Put the disc in the PS3. Load the game. Profit.

Nah, it's more of an action RPG. First or Third person so the viewpoint is like a shooter, and there is more killing people than creatures.

Love the game! As addictive as WoW but you can actually pause and/or save when life calls!

When I first started I wanted to try out everything at the same time. Made a battle mage, then a pure mage, then a 2h warror, then a thief. Accidentally saved over my thief's game so I'm playing my warrior now. Mainly trying to focus on 2h, heavy armor, and blacksmithing. But I'm dabbling in 1h, blocking, and enchanting. Might have made a mistake by going a few points into sneak, but I found a stone that eliminates armor slowing you down and adding 100 carry weight. I kinda upset one of the cities and have no intention of paying my fine or spending time in cinda mine prison again, but there is a dungeon I retreated from located within the palace that I want to go back to and complete. Figure it would be fun to sneak back into the city.

For everybody...choose a side for the rebellion and do the dragonborn questine. There are some awesome things that happen!!! Love this game!

One of my favorite things is that the map tells you if you have cleared a particular place already. So many places I used to forget in Oblivion.

Just started this on xbox. Does anyone know where the secret room is in the tomb where the guy asks you to help him get rid of the guy doing stuff with his ancestors? I am just stuck going in circles in there.
