Same here. Which prospect would you most like to see the Wiz draft? Davis seems like the consensus #1 but he will provide no offense next year. I would love Barnes or MKG but they just drafted two small forwards last year.

Ideally I would like them to draft a #2 or a power forward. Maybe Beal, Lamb, Jones III, or Robinson depending were they end up.

I'm just regularly floored by this team's ineptitude. Lazy, selfish, and untalented...at least one of those adjectives applies to nearly everyone on this team.

I'm worried about Wall developing bad habits. Seemed to me he did a decent bit of standing around and his body language wasn't great. I think of David Carr, and how some analysts have said that the beating he took his first year in the NFL ruined his career. John is in a terrible situation right now. He's playing with inferior talent and I'm sure feels like he's got to do everything.

Something needs to change. The Wiz have been bad for a few years now, but the effort just is not there with this team and I don't know why. Booker hustles his ass off and its easy to see, because he's the only one. Is it that hard to give maximum effort?

Congratulations, Booker on being the player of the game. 6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals. Amazing!

Would that be considered a Triple-Single?

Singleton too, I'd like to see him get more time.

I don't think I've ever seen worse teamwork in my life. I guess Flip's gotta go, but this is certainly not all on him. I honestly don't know what the answer is.

I couldn't agree more. Flip has had plenty of success in this league. It's not as if he's a young coach or a coach that hasn't had much experience. For whatever reason, this group of guys is never ready to play. They act as if they've never played together before. It's literally some of the worst basketball I've seen at any level.

Agree on Singleton as well. As I said earlier, I would make the starting lineup Wall, Young, Singleton, Booker, McGee. With Singleton and Booker, at least you get max effort. If I'm going to watch a team lose by 25, I'd like to at least feel like they're giving their all dammit.

It was reported Mo Evans had this to say about the team, "The sense of entitlement that's here sometimes I've never seen before."

Makes sense. Everyone on this team thinks they're future all stars/HoF. Nick Young, Jordan Crawford, and Andray Blatche come to mind first. Flip even had a quote regarding Crawford thinking he was the best player in the league. It's disturbing to me when you see a veteran player have this to say about his young teammates. These guys should have no sense of entitlement whatsoever. What have they done? They've been losers since they entered the league. The more and more I watch and hear about this bunch, the more I think that for some reason, this just isn't a good group.

Oh, and for those who didn't watch the game the other night, Blatche got a goaltending on a free throw. No one around, he grabbed it off the rim. I think that could be the theme for the season: goaltending on a free throw.

I like Singleton and Wall (if he develops better passing). Wall is too predicatab le right now but that will change in time. Singleton is a beast I hope he becomes Charles Oakley.

Another brutal effort today. I don't think Flip makes it thru the month of January.

I have heard that Larry Brown wants to get back into coaching, and he's been in the area lately with Mark Turgeon at College Park. Granted, he's 71 years old, but the man knows Basketball.

If there's people on this board that don't watch much NBA other than the Wizards, I can see why there's such negativity towards regular season play on here.

Wall is fun to watch. I also enjoy Booker/Singleton. But other than that, I'd like to see everyone else go away (including Flip). What a dreadful group of bums.

Rashard Lewis didn't play yesterday. It was announced about 20 minutes before game-time that he had a "sore right knee." Turns out he had an altercation with Sam Cassell in the locker room and announced that he wasn't going to play.

It's quite possible that this team is in worse shape than the Orioles.

Meh, the NBA is a different animal. Half the teams in the NBA make the playoffs. All you need is 2 or 3 good players and you make the playoffs.
