Ryan Edell, we hardly knew ya.
I saw that and updated the OP, but it's very puzzling. I wonder what the story is here. I know Edell wasn't the second coming of Cy Young or anything like that, but he had a very good year last year. He's probably been playing baseball since age five or so and I'm sure he dreamt of making it to the big leagues. What better opportunity for a cup of coffee than on the Orioles? With a WHIP of 1.201 last year and a 115K:20BB ratio, why would you just give up and walk away from your dream when you're so close? I know there could be many reasons for this that we do not know about, but right now, from the outside looking in, it's a little puzzling.
Any word on Matt Angle?
updated the OP to show; 1)Sardinha was cut after failing the physical, and 2) VandenHurk was signed by Toronto.
I still haven't seen anything on Matt Angle.
Saw posted in a thread on the O's page, Angle signed by the Dodgers
Ouch, I'll update the OP.
Wow, you really didn't need to quote the entire OP.
Antoan Richardson (pronounced An-twan) played with David Price at Vanderbilt. He was drafted four times, finally signed with the Giants in 2005... he was cut in 2009. Picked up by the Braves, got his first call up last September. First MLB hit off of Kershaw. Signed a MiLB contract with the O's this offseason, and will fill in the large void left at AAA Norfolk by the departed Kyle Hudson (Rangers), Matt Angle (Dodgers) and Tyler Henson (Rangers). He will probably not see the Majors again until September. Known for his speed. Will be 28 this year.

Steve Johnson resigned as a minor league free agent last fall and was sent to the fall league where he was very good. Didn't see his name on your list. But, thanks for the list. It's a big help.
MLBTR has learned that the Orioles signed catcher Josh Johnson. The 29-year-old played the last three years in the Atlantic League but prior to that spent time with the Rays and Astros Triple-A affiliates.
The Orioles signed 27-year-old Mexican pitcher Miguel Gonzalez to a minor league deal, the pitcher told Fernando Ballesteros at Puro B?isbol (link in Spanish). Gonzalez posted decent strikeout rates across three levels in the Red Sox system last year after two years away from the minors. He told Ballesteros he will start off at Triple-A for the Orioles.
