Orioles Acquire Dana Eveland from Dodgers

I remember when Dana Eveland threw a shutout against the Orioles (actually 7 1/3 scoreless, but still) in early 2010 with Toronto. After the game, the Jays' catcher Jose Molina basically said, "Yeah, he was just throwing complete slop, but somehow the hitters never adjusted to it." Eveland ended up getting DFA'd a month or two later with a 6.45 ERA.

Not one of the Orioles' finer moments.

Ha i was at that game. One of the most frustrating games to be at. He was throwing nothing and yet we couldn't touch him.

Why would you give up ANYTHING for him? I don't care if they traded a 26 y/o single A pitcher. Just out of principle, why would you trade anything for a guy this bad?

There's probably a couple scouts that like his stuff. Can't imagine this is for more than a PTBNL.
