    Where's Edwin Jackson

Did he already sign? This guy intrigues me. If he is still available, why do I not read about him? What's he worth? Does 3/27 get his attention?

He seems like a guy that could bring some stability to our rotation, making someone else fight for the fifth spot and helping our annually fragile bullpen. He's only 28 years old, has high pressure experience and is available without breaking the bank.

Am I alone on this thought train?

Not wrong and I would love to have him. Not sure 3/27 gets it done though. He is a workhorse.

I'm with you. I was expecting we would sign him and get Floyd.

Unfortunately, if Jackson signs for a reasonable amount it won't be with us. There are too many good teams out there looking for pitching.

I would offer 3 years 27,and then trade for Saunders of Diamondbacks and give up Gregg, salary relief,Rapada, gets lefty out but a luxury on a losing team and Berkens, needs a chance of scenery.

I think the Orioles should go after this guy aggressively. I'd give him a four year deal, and I think he would be a real stabilizing force in the rotation. He's young and has been productive during his career.

I don't think 3/27 gets it done. But I'd go for 4/40 or maybe higher for him.

With Wilson getting 15M per, how much less should Jackson be expecting?10M?,12M?

4/40 for Edwin Jackson would be a nice signing.

This writer agrees with the sentiment.

I expect several teams are quiet waiting to jump for this guy and that the numbers being thrown around above are on the cheap side.

We should be involved to a point, but not sure where the bidding ends up.

I really don't like that policy, not that I don't think Edwin deserves higher then 4 years. I have a feeling DD won't even look at Jackson.

Do you think DD should overpay for him?

So we are basically not signing any youngish pitchers ever with DD. Through FA, only over the hill SP will be interested in signing a 3 year deal.

I think this might be one of the guys that DD said he made an offer to, but has not heard back from. I'd be happy to get him.
