It goes by strength of schedule, not who beat who.

Again, who ahead of the Redskins is in the market for a qb? Right now, I believe, they sit at number 7. They'll still get their quarterback. By April, jones may end up grading out higher than RGIII and Barkley.
I also think they have 9 picks going into the draft, so there is some opportunity to move around.

Ew, L Jones looked terrible at times this year, I don't care what he does at the combine. It would be better for him to go back to school. Skins might take a shot on Tannenhill in the second if they can't get the guy they want in the first. I still think the Browns would take a QB. It's not like McCoy was some top ten pick or anything. He doesn't have the arm to make all the throws.

Yes, really. The more distance you put between yourself and the top of the draft the harder it gets. Colts are going to take Luck, CLeveland is also in position to take a QB. IMO, the Jags, Viks or even less likely but still possibly the Rams could give up on Gabbert, Ponder and Braford and take a QB if they really feel like Barkley or RG3 is a stud. Miami, who you're tied with is looking for a QB. If Barkley and RG3 come out they are both going top 5, possibly even 2 and 3. No way you guys are moving up that far. I'll bet anyone who wants to bet that the Skins don't get any of the 3.

You used the word definitely. That is without question wrong. That's not even a debate.
I agree with you that it makes it more difficult. That is also not for debate.
But at the same time, as you say, as of now, there are only two teams with a worse record that are likely to take a QB. It's also still possible that the Colts will trade the pick and that the Browns will stick with Colt. Both are unlikely, but I think just as likely as the teams you mention giving up on their recent 1st round picks for Barkley or RG3. And Matt Moore may be making Miami think about if he could be their answer at QB.
I'm also not sure how you can state without question that Barkely and RG3 will be top 5 picks. Neither are in Kiper's or McShay's top 5. Plus, it's December. Things change a lot between September and April. Things changed quite a bit last year with the QB's.
And of course they can trade up if need be. If they pick between 6-8, they likely won't have trade up much, if at all.

OK fine, since you're going to back me up against the wall the SKins definitely aren't getting one of these guys. When both go in the top 5 I'll make sure to let you know that this win that probably dropped you from the top 5 to 7th or 8th was the biggest reason why you didn't get one of them.
And I haven't looked at our matchup since this afternoon but I'm assuming you're up by at least 15 points. Akers isn't getting that many points.Last edited by ccbird; 12-19-2011 at 02:34 AM.

I edited my last post. Turns out your post wasn't quite as over the top as I thought since you had probably before chance of getting Barkley or RG3 and definitely concerning the top 5 pick. So my bad on that. I still obviously think they have a decent shot at one of the QB's as of now, but it's pretty far out so who knows where the QB's will be ranked and what each team that may want a QB will think of each of them. Plus, the final draft order will be helpful.
Only 8. Johnson saved you. And I was busy this week and forgot to switch my defense before Thursday; thus, costing myself 15 points.
So if the 49ers are driving at the end of the game, are you going to root for the TD for the win or the FG to tie if that's the difference between winning the fantasy match up?Last edited by mweb; 12-19-2011 at 02:35 AM.

Not even close. The TD. There would have to be a lot, and I mean a lot, more money at stake for me to root against something that would significantly help the Ravens.
I'm also shocked it's only 8. I knew CJ scored that late TD but you were up by 20+ points at one point late during the afternoon games.Last edited by ccbird; 12-19-2011 at 02:39 AM.

It will further hurt their chances of getting one of the top QB's if they beat the Vikings, which they probably should do. Now if they lose that game, they'll have the same record that would have been expected going into today.

Im just 90% sure the SKins won't get one of those 3 guys.
