Nets or Hornets would be the only teams to win and it would seem sketchy to me, it is what it is though. I highly doubt anyone would say it's rigged if the Kings won tho

You serious? "The Kings won once they promised they'd stay in Sacramento"

Doesn't make much sense for the NBA, couldn't that franchise be more profitable to the NBA in a larger market??? The reasons would be much more sensible to me for the Nets and Hornets than the Kings to me. To each his own. Believe what you want to believe...

    .
The Oklahoma City Thunder have made it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1979, when they were the Seattle SuperSonics. That season, they beat a team named ............ The Bullets.

Now that it's the finals, I'm sort of paying attention, turning the games on when the Orioles games are over. Good series so far and I hope it goes 7 games. Durant has been money in the fourth quarter, and I find myself rooting for the young guns of OKC. I don't hate Lebron but I'd find it amusing if OKC became a dynasty and Miami's vaunted Big Three could never get past them.

Frank, did you just see that move by Westbrook just now ???

Did he remind you of Pistol Pete Maravich right there, or what ???

I just want to say that - while I still don't like LeBron - this season has made him seemingly more tolerable to me than D-Wade. Kinda bummed the Thunder didn't win this one, but they are set up pretty darn well to make it back to the finals frequently.

But my biggest question heading into next season: Will Lebron finally admit that he's going bald and shave his head? Or will he keep sliding his headband up in an attempt to trick us into thinking he has hair?

As a Dukie, I was very happy about Shane Battier's contribution to the Heat's championship. He shot 61% in the finals, 58% from beyond the arc, averaged 11.6 points a game and made numerous heads-up plays throughout the series. Probably the best he has played as a pro. This is Lebron's championship and all the focus will be on him, the Big Three and Spolstra, but Battier was a huge factor in this series.

The Pacers made the Heat pay for using Battier at the 4, while the Thunder did nothing of the sort. I was pretty surprised at that. They let him do what he does well, and he had a great series.
