50/50 is tremendous imo.
I did a lot of caving, and a little cave diving (mostly sump dives), when I was younger, so, I enjoy movies about caves. I saw the IMAX version of “Journey Into Amazing Caves,” which I also have on DVD, and have the DVD of “Cave of Forgotten Dreams,” which I wish I had seen in 3D in a theater. I also have a DVD's of a few other lesser known documentary cave movies. I have seen “The Cave,” and “The Descent” I & II, both scary, but hokey movies that included cave monsters. And then there was “Sanctum,” beautifully filmed in 3D and IMAX. Despite some bad acting, and a contrived plot, I still found it to be a gripping, and horrifying, movie…..especially knowing I had done many of the same things years ago…..and suddenly realizing I must have been totally out of my frickin’ mind at the time!!!
I still have to see a bunch of movies but heres my list so far.
1. Drive
2. Moneyball
3. Crazy, Stupid, Love
4. Win Win
5. 50/50
6. X-Men: First Class
7. Jane Eyre
8. Bridesmaids
9. The Tree of Life
10. Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Watched Warrior last night. A little predictable, clitched and corny during some parts but overall it was very good. The acting was very strong and I'm really starting to see why Tom Hardy is getting so much recognition. Great to see Nolte on top of his game again.
1. Scream 4Don't expect a great film if you watch it I'm just a big Scream fanboy so I love all the Screams. I'm not sure I've ever been more excited to see a movie except maybe when I saw Rocky Balboa.
