So as I chronicled my training for my first Marathon on my facebook page this past year I had a lot of my friends tell me that they wanted to try to do a 5k. I sent them the following run/walk plan!

Find a 5k you wanna do. Here is your 10 week training guide to get you there...

Do these exercises on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat. Rest or do easy walk the other days.
Week 1
Run 2 min, walk 4 minutes. Do 5 cycles.
Week 2
Run 3 min, walk 3 min. Do 5 cycles.
Week 3
Run 5 min, walk 2.5 min. 4 cycles
Week 4
Run 7 walk 3. 3 cycles
Week 5
Run 8 walk 2. 3 cycles
Week 6
Run 9 walk 2. 2 cycles then run 8 more minutes.
Week 7
Run 9, walk 1. 3 cycles
Week 8
Run 13, walk 2. 2 cycles
Week 9
Run 14, walk 1. 2 cycles.
Week 10
Run 30 min.
Week 11
