I like it. Hopefully he doesn't cost us too much.

I'm worried this is going to be a waste of money. I like his fastball, but his curve doesn't seem like it will get many right-handers out. I hope I'm wrong.

So by my count that would give us 11 candidates for the rotation:
Guthrie, Chen, Arrieta, Britton, Hunter, Wada, Matusz, Eveland, Simon, Bergesen, Tillman.
Could Guthrie be on his way out?
How does an all lefty rotation (Chen, Britton, Matusz, Wada, Eveland) sound?

Even if he stinks, I am very excited by Double D's foray into the Foreign market. I'll take my chances with these guys over the washed up MLB vets we normally pick up.

I guess that's it for the Jones/Prado/JJ trade.
Trade Guthrie for a 3B

I'm guessing 3/21 or 3/18 on the contract.

I'd like to know what the contract is, and if they 100% see him as a starter. Unlike Wada who could be either or.

Guthrie = 200
Eveland = 200 (for sake of argument)
Wada = 200 (again, sake of argument)
Chen = ?
Arrieta/Britton/Hunter = ?
There's still room for starting pitching depth - there's always room. I would say it possibly opens up a Guthrie trade, but I still think Duq really wants those innings.
