    Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

I enjoyed it. Requires audience participation though.

Definitely dense, but not impenetrably so as some reviewers have griped. And quite rewarding, IMO.

If nothing else, enjoy watching a first-rate ensemble cast go to town with first-rate material.

I like it. I think its a movie that could improve upon repeat viewings. I'd also like to see an extended cut, as it was said that the filmmakers had to do a lot of editing to get it down to its current running time. Since the movie is based on a series of books, I'd also like to see more movies based on them, too.

It's not for everyone, thats for sure, but for people who are bored to death with over-edited action movies, this is a great change of pace spy thriller with some good performances and great moments of suspense.

That said, there is something missing from the movie. I felt like every time it really could have gone for it, it drew back. And I think that was done on purpose.

By the way, "Benedict Cumberbatch" is an even worse baseball name than Hayden Penn. I'm surprised Duq hasn't tried to trade from him yet.

Cumberbatch is absolutely brilliant in the BBC Sherlock series.

Interesting article. The author mixes up the names of the Colin Firth and the Mark Strong character at times, which makes it confusing at times, but this was a great dissection of a very studied movie. I can't wait to watch it again.

And it was a travesty that this wasn't nominated for best picture, but the stupid Tom Hanks 9/11 was? OK.

Finally got around to watching TTSS and I have to agree here. An excellent film. I wonder if they intend on making the other two books of the trilogy into movies, though I think it sits well on its own.

I really enjoyed it. Not everyone's cup of tea, but good for me.
