Yeah ...I know its early ...But its also fun!
* Vontaze Burfict, LB, Arizona St.
Baltimore Ravens
Record: 12-4
He's been drawing comparisons to Ray Lewis since he got to Tempe, and hopefully Lewis will be around for another year to mentor Burfict. But either way, the Ravens have to consider what they'll do, as retirement talk now is a reality for their legendary linebacker, and Burfict is the kind of player who could develop into a star in his own right in that defense. He is instinctive and rangy, and plays with an edge. He developed a bit of a reputation as a guy who was prone to the personal foul, but if he channels that energy, Burfict could be a very good one. He has a ton of experience as an immediate freshman starter and reads the game pretty well
I saw his games out here the past several years and want no parts of him. He's a powder keg with no fuse that will blow at any moment. If you all thought Frank Walker drew a lot of penalties, you haven't seen anything yet.
If Ray Lewis can get his hands on him, he'll be a great MLB for the Ravens. He has all the talent in the world. Frank Walker just sucked all around.
Ray Lewis might not be around, not that it would matter anyway. This dude has serious issues and cannot control his rage. The Ravens have done a very good job over the past couple years of playing more disciplined football and cutting down on penalties. This guy would ruin all of that. And if I was one of the Ravens WR's, I'd watch my back if they draft him.

Burfict is a head case.
If he's there the Ravens need to pick him. I casually follow ASU football and my buddy is an ASU alum. He likened the Dennis Erickson era to allowing the inmates the run the asylum. That wouldn't happen in Baltimore.
Hightower is Kiper's third rated MLB ...The concern with himis the kneeinjury that costed him his 2010 season. So if Mel's right he would be there.
1) Luke Kuechly *6-3 225
2)Vontaze Burfict * 6-3 245
3) Dont'a Hightower * 6-4 260
4) Audie Cole 6-5 239
5)Mychal Kendricks 6-1 240

Well Here's McShay's 32nd best player .... And needing a LT maybe he'd be a good pick up.
Zebrie Sanders
OT
6-5?
295
Analysis: Sanders is reliable and durable, showing a good first step and solid angles as a run-blocker, with quick sets and good blitz awareness as a pass-blocker. Last week: 29
If the Giants win, the Ravens pick 29th. If SF wins they pick 30th.
ok ... so the 29th guys is a run blocking DT per McShay ...A position I doubt we take.
Brandon Thompson
DT
6-2⅛
304
Analysis: Thompson doesn't apply much pass-rush pressure from the inside, but he has quick hands and feet to go with upper-echelon power at the point of attack as a run-defender. Last week: 30
And Kipers 29th is Sanders as he has Burfict at 30
Zebrie Sanders, OT, Florida St.
The Giants have done a fantastic job of coaching up this offensive line after some big changes heading into the season, but they could get younger and add some talent, and Sanders would be a solid fit. This offense is going to be dynamic if it can open holes for the run game and provide time for Eli Manning, so an investment in the offensive line is never a bad idea
Kiper 2.0 has the Ravens passing on Burfict and he's not even in the 1st round.
Baltimore RavensRecord: 12-4
Peter Konz, C, WisconsinWith Ray Lewis' decision to come back for another year, the Ravens might be a little less desperate to find the next great linebacker, and can instead hit another big need. Matt Birk will need a replacement at center, and Konz is the best one in the draft. He's like a good quarterback, picking up every blitz and stunt, and has the kind of smarts in calling out things that will really help the quarterback. The Ravens were a mess up front for portions of 2011 and will need to add help there.
