I'm still not convinced he goes. Unless he decides to retire.

If I had to bet right now it would be on retirement.

His ability to return to the field is still very much in question. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes 2012 off and maybe tries to come back in 2013. I know one thing....if he's a fee agent, I doubt he goes to the Jets. Not they way their O-line protects the QB.

IIRC he is not a free agent. Therefore trade or retirement are the options. He most likely will retire IMO.

He will most likely be a free agent beginning at some point on March 8th. If he was fully healthy I think Irsay would pick up the option but from everything I've seen and read I think it's unlikely he's fully recovered by March 8th. If he's not the Colts cannot afford to take the risk of picking up the option as if he can't play his cap it would be devastating to the franchise for years to come. That is why I think he's most likely a FA on March 08.

If that is the case, I would expect him to keep rehabbing and eventually signing w/another team if he gets to the point where it is realistic that he can play. If he has to play anywhere else, personally I would love to see him land w/Captain Comeback in San Francisco and have a legitimate shot at another ring or two.
