    Not to start a whole other discussion, but it's amazing that children have the empathy that adults so frequently lack. I really think that trait is somehow "un-learned" by many people throughout their lives. If you asked the same question to a lot of 7-year-olds ("how do you think he feels?") I bet you'd get a lot of similar responses, though probably not all of the kids would choose to write the player a letter. If you asked adults, you'd get at least some "I don't care how he feels, he makes lots of many to play a game and he made a stupid mistake."
