And since I'm drunk and spouting off... Here's the BEST thing I ever played!

Better than the Star Spangled Banner. Better than any Zepp. Better than Funk #49. Better than any John Hartford. Better than the BEST small part of Eddie's Eruption. Better than Tull's Nothing is Easy or Teacher. Better than this...

Specifically THIS part and the next minute or so.

Had ALL that worked out. The song. The dive bombers engines cycling up. Louder and louder. The Doppler Effect as the pitch drops. The EXPLOSION of the bombs!

Somewhere in my cluttered bedroom is a tape of that very thing.... One of these days...

Been writing my own music and playing in punk/indie bands for almost 20 years now. It kind of makes me think I should have put my energy to better uses to be perfectly honest.

The goal is not the goal. It's the journey.

I wouldn't trade my 30+ years of playing for anything. It was never about the hope of achieving fame and riches.................Liar, Liar, pants on fire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT3cp...eature=related
