If I were a betting man, I'd say Rice gets franchised, which would put his cap number at around $8 mill. Joe will get a long term for a lot of years, which means you can be creative with the cap hit. You can get Flacco the money he wants but give him a 7 or 8 year deal, along with a low annual salary of the next few years to lighten the cap hit. That's essential the first few years because you still have expensive vets like Ray and Ed under the cap. Later in the deal, you can restructure with Flacco, should the need arise. You could keep Flacco at a cap number in $6 mill range for next year, if the deal is structure well.
You get younger, stronger, faster at the interior OLine by drafting people; especially in light of the rookie wage scale, it's the best way to get talent on the cheap. You could move Jah Reid inside and spend this offseason, OTAs, minicamps, etc, developing him as a G.
As far as WR goes, you look at what's out there come free agency time. Ozzie always finds a way to fulfill needs in FA or through trades; especially in creative, cost effective ways. You see who shakes loose as UFAs or who gets cut.
