Miami has good and bad. Some really beautiful areas. Like New York it is a different world in many ways. If you had enough money you could live in some really wonderful areas. Most of us in South Florida avoid it as much as we can but it has a certain neat aspect to it. Great to visit once in a while, but its also great to get outta there also.

I'll let you guys know how bad that homerun thingy looks in person when I go to a game to check out the new stadium.

The thing that really bothers me is everyone judging this thing. Its pretty close to the feel of the city. I'm with Drungo.

Last time I checked, there wasn't a drug kingpin that shot a Glock and yelled "Die M***********!" in center field for every time an Oriole hits a homer. Then again, they've been doing a LOT of work in the park this offseason...

The aquarium behind home plate looks pretty cool. The fish will probably get a little jumpy after the first foul ball hits the tank.

I know they're building that with this particular situation in mind, but...I really want to see a smashed tank during a game.

Maybe they should have put it on the home run thingy and included a bulle-eye, THAT would be a celebration.

I like that they are incorporating some local flavor and not just copying the HOK Sport/Populous playbook, but the aquarium behind the plate is a bit much for me.

Since we don't know what the actual HR sculpture thing will look like in use, I reserve comments on that.
