Not sure if Pearl Jam is too cool or not cool enough for this forum, but I just finished the PJ20 documentary, and it was awesome. Nothing groundbreaking came out of it, but it was interesting to look back on the entire history and the origin of the band. If you like Pearl Jam, be sure to check this out.
It was great. I watched with while drinking the PJ20 beer from Dogfish, Faithful Ale.
Pearl Jam 10 ranks up there with the greatest debut albums of all time for me. Ten, Appetite for Destruction, August and Everything After, Cracked Rear View, Yourself or Someone Like You, etc are all really great debut albums. Rearview Mirror is also one of the top Greatest Hits albums ever. It's got all you could ever really want from a PJ album, but their problem is that their discography is so huge, they're bound to leave something off in someone's eyes.
It's sweet that they made a documentary about a band that's not as good as Soundgarden, Nirvana or Alice in Chains.![]()
I'd love to see that. Pearl Jam rocks. Eddie Vedder has a great rock voice and presense.

This is one of the coolest old PJ videos you'll ever see. What's so awesome about it is how much their live sound is heard in the studio, instead of the other way around. As you'll see in PJ20, they really didn't like playing in the studio and basically saw it as a necessary evil, but loved playing shows. So their live performances sound true to the stuido, when really it's the other way around.
