    "Oil Can" Boyd Talks About His Cocaine Use, Blames "Bigotry" for Shortened Career

    Former pitcher Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd spoke Wednesday in an interview promoting his upcoming biography, referencing his rampant cocaine use during his MLB playing days, and blaming "bigotry" for his shortened career since he was "outspoken and a so-called 'proud black man.'"

    It's more likley his cool pretty nickname "Oil Can" and his overblown reputation kept him around longer than he otherwise would have been.
